My Grandmothers Pie

This past weekend was

“Christmas In The Country”

here in our little town.  I belong to a Co-op where I put in time at the shop

in exchange for an area to sell my creations.  This year I helped with the food and brought my

Grandmothers “Million Dollar Pie” in mini bite size.

Several people asked me for the recipe so I have added it to my

RECIPE page.

I looked online and see that there are in fact lots of different

Aunts and Grandmother versions of this pie. Most have pecans.

I really do not know why my Grandmother didn’t include

those since the “South” is known for adding pecans to everything

and she did.

Maybe she was giving us a break!

I also noticed that most people use a graham cracker crust.  I don’t recall my

grandmother ever using a graham cracker crust for anything.

She made fresh homemade pie shells for everything.

I have also included that recipe.

ENJOY!
